Broken Bread and Poured Out Wine

Do you have a heart that loves God and desires to do right? Are you able to look at others with love and compassion? Can you extend love and compassion to another individual regardless of how you feel about them?

We don't always do the right thing or say the right thing but the condition of our heart matters.

We will never know what kind of influence we will have on those around us. Because of this, we need to make sure what/how we are acting influences others in the right way.

When we are broken, are we allowing God to transform us and use us? Are we willing to pour ourselves into those around us?

We must be broken bread and poured out wine for God's glory.

My life verse: 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

Fear- when it comes, remember it is not of God. Satan doesn't want you to do the things God has for you.

Power- He tells us in His Word that we can do anything through Him. His strength lives within us if we would just allow Him to have full control.

Love-we are to love as Christ loves. Regardless of the person or situation our love should be visible.

Sound mind-stable, healthy mind. Your attitude and your outlook on life makes a huge difference.

The idea of a ladies ministry started in my heart in 2019. God grew that desire once we moved back to MI and returned to our former church.

I longed for community, friendships and continued growth with other women of like faith.

I saw a need for this in other women just like myself. I didn't know what it would look like or how it would progress, but I knew God would be there to help. I am so glad I listened to that still small voice in me saying just take a step of faith and start this ministry.

When you ask God to use you, He will. Maybe not how you pictured but it will turn out to be exactly what you needed. Since starting that ladies ministry, I have made many amazing relationships. I have been discipled, convicted and challenged. I have grown, I have community and I have seen God work in so many ways.

I am thankful for each one of those ladies! They have all blessed me in one way or another. They have influenced me and helped me change and grow. This is something I never imagined happening! I’m still in contact with several of those ladies even now after being gone for almost two years. A few have become some of my closest friends.

1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV "Therefore, my beloved brethern, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your Labour is not in vain in the Lord."

*Sometimes God puts things on our hearts to only change it and make it into something bigger, better and exactly what we needed.
