Fully Known

We have a God who knows us. I mean really knows us, our thoughts, our actions cannot escape Him, whether in secret or in the open and yet He loves us for who we are unconditionally. He sees our hurt, our jealousy, our brokeness, our disappointments and yet He loves us. He hears our words spoken in hate, in anger, in contention and yet He loves us. He watches how we react to others whether in kindness or hostility and yet He loves us.

"I'm fully known and loved by you. You won't let go no matter what I do." -Tauren Wells

This song has been playing over and over in my head for the last few months. I think it's because sometimes I don't feel loved by others (besides my husband and kids) so this reminds me that I have a God that loves me regardless of knowing my failures. Remember, our emotions and feelings change so we must not trust them all the time.

Psalm 31:7 KJV "I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;"

We are fully known by our creator and yet He loves us still. There is no one who truly knows us fully besides God. To have full knowledge of someone and still love them is amazing. I feel His love daily even when I do not feel love from others.

Psalm 139:1-5 KJV "O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me."

These verses show the depths of God's knowledge regarding our inner most parts, and yet He still loves us. He has His hands on us continually. Remember His love is so great for us that He literally gave His son's life so that we could live.

Galatians 2:20 KJV "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

We will never know the depths of His love. We can only trust His word that tells us of His great love for us.

"The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell" -Mercy Me

*We are fully known and loved by a perfect Savior who only wants His best for us
